Fred Steiwer Head Pro | Fred is in his 37th year teaching at Vista Tennis. Prior to teaching, he was a top ranked New England Junior, and also has had some National tournament experience. He attended Rollins College and was a varsity player for four years. |
 Candice Hutchinson | This is Candice's 13th year at Vista Tennis. Candice was State Champion while at Greenwich High School. She played #3 Singles and #1 Doubles at Fairfield University. She is also a 4-time MAAC Singles and Doubles Champion. |
Chris Mayotte | Chris is a former top New England Junior and was a 2-time All-American in singles and doubles at the University of South Carolina. He played for 4 years on the pro tour, including all 4 Grand Slam events. He enjoyed most of his tennis success while playing doubles. During his career he won 3 doubles titles. Chris was ranked 84th in the world. He has been teaching in the area for many years and is currently in his 9th year teaching at Vista Tennis. |
Doug Sarnoff | This is Doug’s 8th year at Vista Indoor Tennis. He has over twelve years of teaching experience in Westchester County, during which time he also ran several summer programs at private clubs in Fairfield County. Prior to 1998, he lived in Southern Pines, North Carolina, and Palm Beach County, Florida, where he conducted clinics for both children and adults, and gave private lessons at area clubs. He played college tennis at Colgate University for two years. He lives in Pound Ridge with his family and three dogs. |
Catherine Walker | Catherine is a former top ranked Eastern Tennis Association player and New York State High School Doubles Champion. She attended the University of Michigan on a four year tennis scholarship where she competed at the varsity level and was voted team captain. She has taught tennis in the northeast for many years. This is her 8th season teaching at Vista Tennis. |
Mark Passman | Mark is starting his 6th year teaching at Vista Tennis. He has been teaching in the area since 1993. He graduated from New York University, where he played on the tennis team for four years. Mark also served as head coach of the Men's Varsity Tennis Team at Manhattanville College. |
Kevin Cunniff | In his 6th year at Vista Tennis, Kevin brings over 20 years of teaching experience, having served as head pro at several clubs in Westchester and Fairfield counties. He had the privilege to act as an assistant to the late Arthur Ashe. Kevin received his tennis training at Dennis Van Der Meer Tennis University in Florida. |
